The Fayette County Airport Authority and Mr. Joseph A. Hardy selected Sleighter Engineering to perform a feasibility study for the extension of Runway 5-23 at the Joseph A. Hardy Connellsville Airport.  The study evaluated the demand of the existing and potential airport users and concluded that an increase in runway length is justified.  The successful study enables the airport authority to explore various funding sources, and initiate the next steps including a Master Plan Update, Benefit Cost Analysis, and Environmental Study.
